Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
- 3–4 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition — ideally in the automotive, digital marketplace, or advertising sectors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, confident, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate with a bias to using online of systems
- A strong understanding of Kenya’s car trade market, dealer networks, and online marketing tools will be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by recruiting and onboarding verified car dealers and private sellers to list their vehicles on the Magari Deals platform.
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies that increase listing subscriptions and enhance dealer engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continuous listing renewal.
- Conduct active market outreach through visits, calls, digital marketing initiatives, and participation in dealer events.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to improve client onboarding processes and enhance user experience.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare sales reports, and share actionable insights on market trends and competitor activities.
- Represent Magari Deals at industry events, car shows, and trade exhibitions to promote brand visibility and partnerships.
- Manage the company’s online and social platforms — including YouTube and other digital channels — by creating and curating relevant automotive content
- Manage page blogs about the automative industry
- Perform any other role that may be assigned by management
